Double Exposure

In this double exposure project, some challenges I faced include taking the right kinds of images to use to effectively execute the project. I also struggled with being creative and thinking of ways to double expose, more than just lowering the opacity or using a blending mode. I tried to use images that reflect the way I see each person. I think I’ve benefitted from this project in ways of being creative and giving myself more options. In conclusion, I learned to take more high quality and more options for images for the projects in the future.

Hockney Effect

In shooting this project, I faced challenges of spacing and piecing the imges together. I struggled to understand what pictures would benefit my project and what would take away from the collage. I also faced the challenge of taking too many photos and not knowing what to include and making it too detailed rather than simplifying it. I learned from this project that seeing your outcome is important to make any project successful. By understanding what you want to create, it makes the whole process easier and seeing all the pieces before you place them.

Straight Photography

My purpose with these photos was to capture the details in things we see everyday. I thought the dew drops were really interesting and pretty. I also loved the way the puddle acted as a mirror of the sky. I tried to capture all the different textures in these images and the black and white made each texture stand out even more.
